sorry, that whole post wasn't directed at you, although i see now how you could easily interpret it that way! i have just seen that video posted on literally every forum i frequent, followed by thousands of anti-apple sheep going going on about how their device is so much better than apple's.. this was then the catalyst for my anti-anti-fanboy rant - i didn't mean you were the subject!MyCult said:

Amused me too, because I know someone who is that blinkered about apple products. Gotta admit though, if you could sell overpriced products to people just because you made them then you would too, I know I would.

In the interests of balance.
Surely the humour comes not from digs at the products, though i guess those with the knowledge can enjoy that, but from the idiocy of people desperately wanting things without having the first idea why.
Unless i am missing something and this HTC thing really does have an app that will build you an island then transform into a jet and fly you there.

Someone in my office just said they wont make many more iphones "because they can't just keep releasing the same product over and over again can they?". I pointed them to the ipod, of which they own 4 versions....
iPhone 4 has had a whole string of problems. The biggest one is the antenna problems. You hold the left bottom of the phone and the signal drops to 0. Not to mention the other signal related problems so much so that the lead engineer in charge of the antenna (Mark Papermaster) "left" the company without comment.
Biggest screen, Super AMOLED display (80% less reflective lot more energy efficient), Super fast 1Ghz CPU, Dedicated Graphic processing unit (make this phone a powerhouse), Android, HD video Recording, massive battery on a already more efficient phone.
I could go on. Lot better then the iPhone 4 and that's coming from a mac loving graphic design 'fanboi'
The best phone on the market is the Samsung Galaxy S.

Let me stop you there. Samsung telecoms stuff is crap IMO. I've had a samsung phone in the past, it self destructed (physically) after less than 9 months. I was quite glad as it was irritating the hell out of me anyway and I needed an excuse to get a new handset.adawson said:
