In your other thread you say you're based at peopleserve, are you working along side them or have you replaced them?

It appears that most people who are facing unemployment in Stafford re-train as driving instructors. I, along with about 12 other motorists had to wait for two of them to complete their 33-point turns before I could get off the estate this morning, then another one was trying unsuccessfully to negotiate the Redhill roundabout. Before all the liberal mentalists start chipping in with 'we all had to learn sometime' - not at rush hour we didn't. And as far as I recall there weren't whole fleets of driving school vehicles hell-bent on causing motoring misery!
And before Withnail comes back at me in a wholly contradictory fashion demanding to know how I passed my test with this wholesale hatred of learner drivers - Congratulations Withy, for a year on the forum with some entertaining posts from an all round top bloke! (That should do it!)

If there's one thing i hate, it's learner drivers.

If there's two things i hate, it's learner drivers and those that hate learner drivers.

That's two big ifs - in fact, i couldn't give a toss either way but if that had happened to me i would've been fuming. This is why i ride a bicycle. :)

Johnny Seven, now there's a blast from the past. £4.99 if I remember rightly. Built me own chopper in metalwork class, extended forks, backrest, all the shizz.

Indeed, evidently a good parping is in order!

And John, I'll award you a skill point for using the word 'Parp' it's not used enough in my opinion.

A bit of toadying?..
Gramaisc, this is also much underused, have a skill point yourself! Maybe we should start a Stafford Forum 'word of the day thread'!

Perhaps we could start with 'floccinaucinihilipilification'.

*ducks* (quack) Mrs. M - never meant anything other than you didn't quite understand the meaning of the word - the fact your kid knew how to spell it at such an early age quite outstanding - *ducks further just in case it's not enough*

Great! All I need to do is learn to drive, then get some completely incompetent doctor to say that I can drive - I am currently in the process of applying for a free bus pass on the grounds that I would be refused a driving license due to a medical condition/disability. Other than that, no problem!!! No more signing on for me...
