I haven't seen it, but there can often be a lot of confusion about in these circles. The BNP candidate for the Cannock Chase constituency in the last General Election rejoiced in the name of Terence Majorowicz...
Result of the 2010 general Election - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/election2010/results/constituency/a89.stm .I thought it was a woman that was a candidate for the Cannock area

Did Mr Griffin ever have his DNA profiled to give an indication of his own ethnic background?.
Terry could be short for Terence (M) or Theresa(F), although Terri would be the short form for a female in particular, usually anyway, especially in America..SO Its not a woman, I through Terence was a woman name or at least a unisex name
I felt it humanised Griffin a little too much rather than show him up for the complete and utter scumbag that he is.

Smoking bans are a result of national legislation. You can still smoke in the Czech Republic, just the same as it was here before the current legislation was brought into force. Probably a few other EU member states as well, I imagine.Just remembered the most interesting part of the program was finding out that the only place in Europe that you can still smoke indoors in a public place is in the EU parliament building, talk about one law for us and another for 'them'!
Isn't the done thing to just say what you 'imagine' to be the case as a statement of fact?...I imagine.
I think that shows you are just as bigoted as he is!
I stated a fact, i.e. that the position in the one mainland EU country that I have direct experience of is the same as it was here, before the situation changed in England and Wales. The use of the word 'Probably' might have been a clue to the fact that I was surmising, but hadn't checked, that the situation in Bulgaria, Romania, etc., is likely also to remain as it was in the old days here.Isn't the done thing to just say what you 'imagine' to be the case as a statement of fact?
Or am i imagining things?

The point was that smoking legislation is, currently, at least, still a matter for national governments and not a result of an EU directive. To state that, if that is what was stated in the programme, that the EU Parliament building is the only public building where you can still smoke indoors in Europe, is not true. It is possible that it might be the only place in Belgium, though. Who knows.
