KMAC (KISS MY ASS CANCER) Was founded by a very brave lady by the name of Nicola Murrells. She fought cancer for 4 years, eventually losing her battle in September 2017. In this time she set up a charity to help fund research and treatment, at The Royal Marsden, into immunotherapy and non toxic treatments of The Big C.
Her Brother, Gregg Boughey, appeared on Stafford FM's Tonka Talks with Rich MF Tomkinson, during the Summer, where Rich pledged to help the cause by committing to take on the challenge of staging The Real Full Monty at Stafford's Gatehouse Theatre next March.
A willing group has been assembled and rehearsals are well under way. I'm just posting this to make people aware, then further links will be added for ticket sales, website, facebook etc to let you know how things are going.
The dates are Monday 25th March and Wednesday 27th March and the shows will include, music, comedy, interviews and stories of peoples' personal experiences, culminating in the "Big Reveal!" Based on the fomat of the ITV version, there is one Mens' group and a Ladies' group. We hope this captures the imagination of the town and people come out in numbers.
Together, Let's Kick Cancer's Ass!
Can we sell it out before New Year?
