All this has reminded me of a job I notice on a daily basis and then immediately forget - but, I've done it now.
There are two trellises in the conservatory, held in place for the last 25 years by some plain steel screws. These have rusted in the humid conditions, slightly staining the surrounding wood and I have finally replaced them with stainless ones now. Job ticked off.
I had planned to also do Mr Amery's plate, but I'm not around there a lot these days.
Five years ago, I did this one at the 'far end' of the park.
It would be interesting to see how they have progressed in that time.
