It went quiet when the de Pfeffel fan club got an 80+ seat majority in the House.
Our contribution being to return perhaps the worst MP in the history of the Stafford franchise in the process. A seat that was sat on by Bill 'Eurotrash' Cash lest we forget. Quite a high bar to hurdle.
The O got there though.
Poke me in 5 years from now - i will quietly seethe in the meantime. What do you propose we do about it now?
Would a fundamentalist Catholic coup be in our best interests?
I'm unconvinced.
Deal or No deal
Seems it now a lose, lose situation
or simply a self harm, self harm situation...
They took the UK in,
Let's rock.So, we've taken back control.
My bin has not been emptied.

Anyone here understand the new vat rules? Have we really just told the world that to sell to the UK they have to be registered with HMRC?
Isn't there an extra bit in the new rules that says if the seller abroad dosn't follow the rules, then the recipient in the UK is liable?Yep. They have to register and pay VAT here, because HMRC don’t have the capacity to check stuff coming from everywhere in the world.
Which to me just says: if you do business as usual, don’t bother with VAT, you’ll probably get through customs without it being checked or having to pay import duty.
But for smaller businesses on the continent it's more likely for them to conclude that trading with Britain is more trouble than it's worth.Yep. They have to register and pay VAT here, because HMRC don’t have the capacity to check stuff coming from everywhere in the world.
