Local mead?

Does anyone know if there is any mead made locally? Stuck with either making our own and having to wait or ordering online and having to pay through the nose.
Although the current present of mead was incredibly welcome :)

Some phone numbers here - http://southstaffsbeekeepers.co.uk/staffbg.html - might be worth investigating...

The wine man at the farmers market usually has mead on around this time of year. At Stone tomorrow and Stafford next week. If you get to his stall and he has none, you can order some in for the following week as well.

I'd make your own, it's super easy, just ask the nice man in the home brew shop for tips.

We know, made it before. ;) G's problem is that I make her wait ages after I have racked it before I let her drink it. lol

She's currently getting frustrated waiting for me to let her at the peach and rasberry wine... ;) I did buy her 3 bottles of Harvest Gold for our wedding anniversary though in my defense. lol
