    Hello Stafford Forum!

It is great to have joined you here! We have got something a little bit special to announce our arrival with...

We are celebrating the launch of our new menu with a fundraising event for charity next week and we've got two free tickets to give away!

On Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th October we are offering a special "all you can eat" deal on starters, mains and sundries, with half of the £12.95 ticket price being donated to Katherine House Hospice. Over the nine years we have been in Stafford we have made lots of friends and we feel it is important to give something back to the community.

Around 30% of our menu is changing. We are keeping many of our classics, but also bringing exciting new dishes we have trialled at our three other restaurants to Stafford.

We are going to make these very special nights. There will be lots going on, with a raffle and even live Indian entertainment. Places are limited to only 65 each evening. Reservations can be made by calling us at Malabar on 01785 227500 after 5.30pm.

    THE COMPETITION

To enter the competition, which is exclusive to Stafford Forum members, all you have to do is complete the following sentence in ten words or fewer and post it in this thread:

    "I love Malabar because..."

We will announce the winner on Saturday. Good luck! :)

Just to let everyone know, this is Stafford Forum's first (sort of) "official" affiliated competition, so it would be great if everyone could take part. Hopefully you will see mention of it in the local press in the weeks to come. :)

Welcome, Malabar! It's no secret that the users of Stafford Forum love a curry, so we wish you all the best with this charity promotion. :D

There was - I was just about to point that out as well..

I can't remember what it was, but it rhymed. Possibly Sofa's entry was 'I love Malabar because it's the best by far'...

It would be grossly unfair of you to win this competition - it's a curry house, not a salad bar ;)

No, but it's a good tag line - should keep those pesky herbivores at bay.

Just to confirm here, next Monday and Tuesday will be all you can eat for £12.95?
Will you be doing smaller portions to allow people to try the new menu, or will it be help yourself style? I think I may have to come down for this, I'm due a curry!
