As with most forums, and due to the succesful google ranking of the forum, there will be constant hits from people googling random terms that then appear within our threads. Most will not even be from Stafford, or even the UK in many cases, and will be one off hitters readinhg up on a certain topic they're searching for.
Some days I can hit around 20 various forums whilst searching for information. I couldnt even tell you the forum names as I just click the google link, read a page or two on the subject, then use the back button to return to the google search results page.

You can see what the visitors are currently looking at - and the Olympic 50p thread seems to generate almost constant interest for some reason...

It can be borderline entertaining to click on ^Members -> Current Visitors to see what they're looking at. But only if you are really quite bored. Often it is things of a practical nature, so as wmr points out many will be people on the search for answers to questions directed here via .

TBF, amidst the chaff there is quite a lot of wheat hereabouts.

Is this really still the case?

Time was when a hefty amount of 'guests' were searching for such - i still blame MyCult, and miss him commensurately.

As it happens i still have a tidy sum tied up in 50 pees - do you think i should start to get all 'mercenary' about it?

Well i say 'tidy sum' but it is definitely a little south of £20 - i am a man of modest means.
