Metal detecting farmers permission

Hi All,

I'm trying to kick start my new hobby Metal detecting which I have always wanted to do ever since watching time team many years ago and think all the walking will help with my depression, but have no clue who I can talk to in Stafford and around to get any farmers land permissions.

I don't suppose anybody knows any farmers who could help me out so I have somewhere to go?

If you start detecting and an old chap in a cardigan, wearing cords, chewing straw with a shotgun starts shouting "gerrorrrrf my laaaand", you'll soon know the answer
