Microsoft Messenger Nightmare

Does anyone run Microsoft Messenger 6.0.2 on a apple mac? Is anyone experiencing the program to crash as soon as you try to send an instant message. I do and its really pissing me off. It was running fine and then one day it broke and I don't know why or how to fix it. Can anyone shed some light on the subject. My account works fine on a PC but on my Mac, no chance-o. I used it all day every day at work and I really want it up and running again. Please help!

In my last ditch attempt to solve this nightmare, I wrote to an employee of Microsoft who surfs the forums dealing with people's queries. After a week long wait, she replied with some advice. It worked, now all is well and my faith with Bill Gates has been restored.

Anyone else who experiances a similar problem you can use a cut down version called MacMessenger which is good if your MSN is not working, MacMessenger also works on OS8.6+

don't know to be honest, suppose i could reluctantly let go for £100. comes with a mac pro keyboard worth about 150 nicks, instead of the shitty effort it was sold with.
i think it's got a 4oomhz processor, 128mb ram, 10gb hard drive.

must have about a thousand fonts. more than you can have installed in one go. and some rarities only available from fontshop.com

it maybe about 8 years old but it's reliable, hasn't let me down, and serves a purpose.

what would you use it for? if you wanted it for doing print design it's very a handy tool and comes with some pretty cool 'industry set-up' features i could explain in more depth.

i used it to do garden party poster...
