Officer are searching for an 8-year-old boy who has been missing from his Willenhall home for several hours.
Romeo Mayhead was last seen after he went to bed late last night but when his family woke this morning they found he had gone from their Short Heath home.
The schoolboy was reported missing to police at around 8.30am and a search was launched around the local area.
Romeo is described as white, 4ft 9in tall, of stocky build, with short fair hair, blue eyes, and he has an instant tattoo on his left forearm.
Inspector Les Dow, from Walsall Police, said: "We are very concerned as Romeo is very young to be out on his own.
"We believe he may have argued with siblings last night and has left his home some time this morning. We have officers out across Walsall and neighbouring areas looking for Romeo and all of his usual haunts are being checked.
"The child's family are very worried and are desperate to know that he is safe and well."
