Moving to Stafford—where should I live?

Have you also tried the Rose and Crown, Floodgate, Swan and The Sun.

Not yet, but I'll add them to my list. I've so far done the picture house, the radford bank, and market vault, where I've since stayed. I went to sample the microbrews at the Floodgate a couple of days ago during the afternoon but it was closed. I'm planning on checking out it soon though.

The weather's been okay. A few showers, but otherwise, nice and sunny/warm. Nothing a waterproof jacket can't handle. :)

How do I edit this?

In addition to @markpa12003's list, The Greyhound opposite the prison is a favourite among the real ale fraternity. Personally I've never thought it had the atmosphere of the Vaults or the Rose & Crown, but the beer is particularly good so it's certainly worth checking out.

As mentioned above, the Greyhound is also a very good pub. However, its a little out of town and, for me, lacks the atmosphere / friendliness of the other pubs I mentioned in my previous post.

*I'm sure the Greyhound is a very friendly pub if your a regular visitor and know the locals - I'm an infrequent visitor to the pub.

Seems a good enough thread. Giving consideration to a house on Fonthill Road. Is it alright? Not a million miles from there now but just checking .

One of my best mates lives on Fontil. Huge back garden, big enough house and safe and secure. She's very happy there.

Obviously, the general area around there is very select, but I may be able to influence the Neighbourhood Watch Committee's vetting procedures.

Fonthil itself is one least affected of all the Sandon Road offshoots by the modern curse of street and/or footpath parking.

don't mention the blinds
I've got a mate that lives on fonthill too, however you are more likely to know his dog, Misty. I think it's a nice area with decent open space nearby and, of course, the mighty Stafford Rangers.

Property opposite Misty us up for sale via auction, we may get to see Mr Dublin or Ms Alexander in town......
