Should that be 'around the ear and neck ache'
Sorry, I've had a beer, or two.
Probably....it started off in the middle of the night....you know that feeling when you wake up and you've managed to *fold your ear over & sleep on it........well like that....but all around it & into my neck.

*I don't have ginormous ears, I have very small ears, but still manage it.

**I might have had a gin....or 2 to drown my sorrows......on an empty stomach......as tea isn't ready yet..........woe is me!

I now have the fun internal debate of “root or pull” regarding my problematic tooth, as it’s gone completely non-vital (learning lots of lingo lately) and needs one of the two

I still have my wisdom tooth to come through so a pull is very tempting

Pull ends all issues

How's this for service.....skill points to the Passport office staff ! Rather gobsmacked sons new passport has come back within a week from doing the online application & posting his old passport back by 'tracked next day'.

If you need a new passport folks, this is the time to get it done! Times on processing tracking were late at night , so must have a nightshift working, (Didn't even need his photo verified as him , even though he was a school kid on the old one and looks nothing like him! )

Luckily , as he was at work , TNT took a photo of his door and posted through letter box at 8am.

Just had flashbacks to my "safe sex education" classes at High School which consisted of putting a condom on a banana inside a shoe box and watching this 'Spitting Image' produced music video about an anthropomorphised prophylactic. 🤨

That was Spitting Image!?

That explains a lot to be fair.

We never got to put condoms on bananas, but I’m curious as to why you needed a shoebox

We never had such exciting lessons 😂 Our sex reproduction lessons were limited to biology lessons about eggs and boring DNA stuff .

I caught a bus into Worcester today to play safe with the floods (never used my free OAP pass so much! ) . The carpark I have unlimited free parking for is soon going to become part of the River Severn again. Didn't want my little red car seen featured on tonights news going bobbing merrily away along into the distance with all the logs/ branches already swirling down the fast flowing river , roads and pavements.

I spent a 'fun' couple of hours fitting a toilet seat to one in this style, with no sensible access to the underside of the fixing bolts.

I was (just) able to contort my right arm sufficiently to eventually apply and subsequently tighten the nuts.

Doing it all, one-handed, out-of-sight and at risk of getting trapped in an 'amusing' manner was not conducive to a feeling of wellbeing.

Madness - this obsession with hiding things is a plague.

Then, walking back home, I encountered a Polish chap having a steering issue with this remarkable vehicle.

We got it mobile enough for him to get it home from there - probably - I hope...

I've no real idea, beyond it seeming to be a recumbent bike* - probably 'full-electric', as I didn't see pedals and it seemed to be a bit 'slim' for a pedalling action when inside. It also had a full canopy, just out of shot on the bench.

It had a home-made or kit-built look about it, but there was a howling gale going on and he just wanted to get home, so we got it mobile and went our separate ways at that point.

*Edit - well, trike really - one powered at the back and two steering at the front.
