Can I have a backie home ?
Well done @GlamToday I got my fat backside back on a pushbike. I'm still wheezing like I have asthma. We went up the Isabel line as far as the Graveyard, not far, but it has been ages, for me. Dread to think how my legs will ache in the morning. Won't be winning any races that's for sure!
But it's a start, like Great Unwashed said, you don't laugh at those having a go, regardless of their size. Because they are at least trying.
Small edit: Some wag on FB,who shall remain nameless (@Stoofer34@ ) Suggested Strava. He/she/it has been politely told where to go.
Brilliant! I've got dodgy knees from my road racing days, but can really go for it in the water as no impact (except for the tonights session where it's a fast aerobics in the water using weights , and I keep clonking my knees when I don't get my legs up high enough to swing the weights under . Kept wondering where the bruises were coming from ) and the weight is coming off fast with the water resistance. Ive been doing several diffferent aqua classes a week and love it!Thank you. Won't be doing much till after Christmas, but I've decided sign up for Aquarobics. It'll help my knee if nowt else x
Sounds good, though I detest all forms of physical exercise apart from walking and cycling.Thank you. Won't be doing much till after Christmas, but I've decided sign up for Aquarobics. It'll help my knee if nowt else x
Mmm, is somebody trying to tell you something..?in the water using weights
Ask Santa for a cheapo pair of pool shoes to make it easier to grip the floor.Thank you. Won't be doing much till after Christmas, but I've decided sign up for Aquarobics. It'll help my knee if nowt else x
I have a pair of those, got them for going out on sisters knobheads boat, which didn't happen this year. Sexy as f***Ask Santa for a cheapo pair of pool shoes to make it easier to grip the floor.
I'd never heard of them before my aqua zumba instructor advised I got mine from Lidl for a fiver last summer .I tried them on the store & ended up buying 2 sizes smaller than normal. But need them snug .
Lots don't wear them , but as well as giving grip it protects against verruca & other nasties lurking on the walk to the pool.
I wouldn't worry about it. It's not as if any medical treatment you may need requires any form of accuracy, double checking or competence.Well , I know I've always been a short @rse at 5'2" . But checking my blood test results on line from the other day , noticed on my records they have me down as 'Standing Height 15.4 cms ' .
Have they moaned about your BMI..?Well , I know I've always been a short @rse at 5'2" . But checking my blood test results on line from the other day , noticed on my records they have me down as 'Standing Height 15.4 cms ' .
But that's only half as tall as the twelve inch pianist.Well , I know I've always been a short @rse at 5'2" . But checking my blood test results on line from the other day , noticed on my records they have me down as 'Standing Height 15.4 cms ' .
For a minute I thought you were boasting there but that would have to be on a non brewer's droop dayBut that's only half as tall as the twelve inch pianist.
My fox has been back quite a few times....I'd not seen one for years, but now wonder if they've been coming all this time. We only fitted the garden camera in the summer...so they could have visited for years without me knowing as he/she comes between 1am & 4.30amAsk Santa for a cheapo pair of pool shoes to make it easier to grip the floor.

Saw a big furry fox again by my car in the leisure centre. Said hello to it and it ran off..
Weeping Cross surgery had hubby's records as attending the baby clinic once during lockdown. Unless there's something he isn't telling me, someone is missing that visit on their records..I wouldn't worry about it. Oh...
It's not Crufts this weekend, is it ?Sitting on a bench, overlooking the lake at the NEC, mid stroll between between the Genting Hotel and the halls. The thought of another eight hours breathing in the stale air of the place still being a bit much at this time of the morning, thought p jr and I would have a pause in the sunshine, breathing in what passes for fresh air in these parts first. It's actually rather pleasant, if somewhat chilly.
This is day two and probably the day I will end up in real trouble with the current Mrs p for buying something else she doesn't consider I need...
Only one more day of it after this...
