I’ve done a shift at The Gatehouse (Met) for Snow Play.
On the way home I stopped off at Aldi to do Howard’s shopping (96 year old next door neighbour.)
Then this afternoon I decorated 2 cakes that I’d made previously, they had both already had marzipan and icing on, just needed to be decorated. One sponge for son‘s girlfriends birthday tomorrow and one fruit for their Christmas.
Took 2 hours longer than I thought it would.
Then I made some mushroom soup for tomorrow and now I’m having a glass of wine.
I’m not a professional cake baker so I’m quite proud of my efforts.
