Virgin airlines reminds me that a friend's niece worked for them as a stewardess but allegedly gave it up because of Branson's groping.
And today's newspapers name Richard Branson alongside Prince Andrew in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

So frustrated at not being able to suss out this 'super duper fitbit watch that does everything' son gave me for my birthday (had to ask my mate the actual time in zumba earlier , as I couldn't even find that on it  ) that I've just eaten a whole box of chocolates ! Now even more p1ssed off with myself 😭

Had xrays , just waiting for doc to call me in with results etc.
On my own & panicking a bit as nearly fainted in xray room.
Will chat to you lot to keep me upright while I wait..
Couldn't find A & E , apparently it's moved from where I thought it was. ( moved from the part with big signs saying ' accident and emergency ' )The ambulance crews waiting outside were very helpful and walked me through their entrance in a different building to get into it. So many buildings here !

I took an old boy to the hospital in the Big Town here - I thought I knew where I was going, but there was a lot of building work underway and I got hugely lost. Luckily, I had found a wheelchair for him, as he would never have made it on foot - I was struggling myself. It became clear that he would be 'staying for a bit' and so I departed after a while - I have even less idea of how I got out, I ended up escaping through a door that I had never seen before, on the very opposite side from where I thought I was. It was like trying to get round IKEA whilst blindfolded.

I'm yet to find my way out. Still sitting here waiting to find out xray results. My zumba instructor has insisted on joining me once her plumber has been , but trying to deter her as not very pleasant sitting here for hours. Especially when she doesn't have to.

( I walked 4 miles on my own to Stafford hospital with my suitcase for my hysterectomy years ago. Hubby doesn't like the hassle , so I'm used to doing things on my own)

Didn't realise they have bouncers on the doors of hospital. I avoided him by being ushered through the ambulance crew back entrance to get in .

Not allowed to drive for insurance purposes as not covered with fractured bones
Hope you're feeling better, thank goodness you didn't hit your head as well, it took me nearly 6 months to get rid of my concussion...still not quite right.

Thought I posted this last night but seems to have not gone...
I put my arms out to try to stop myself. Luckily wearing 2 layers under a massively thick jacket, or maybe might have been worse.
Amazingly my dozen eggs I'd just bought from M&S remained intact!
Gave xray man a bit of concern almost fainting in there, with my "ghostly white face".

Son's been really good doing stuff around the house including ordering a Dominoes for tea.( can't hold knife & fork). First time ever that I left my jobs until after my walk, normally get everything done first.
And he's just returned with a bunch of 💐 and a card and a dry shampoo spray for me as I can't shower :o ( did have a quick attempt when I got home though with a plastic bag over my hand, to wash the blood off. Luckily knees just grazed & bruised.

Hospital BIG concern was I couldn't get my wedding ring off and hand swelling. It was stuck tight and had a job convincing not just from today's events.
They were going to cut off if fingers swelled up any more. Told them it's not been off for 41 years , and with swollen knuckles normally I had Caesarean 28 years ago , and hysterectomy since with ring taped up by hospital as my knuckles are normally swollen ( not just from this fracture) & impossible to remove...... I avoided the saw today with warnings to keep an eye on it..

Son had a go with ice cold water & washing up liquid ...hey presto.....ring is off!!!

This method works surprisingly well, too.

My walking companion is under some pressure, apart from work aspects anyway. On Boxing Day, the daughter came round with the new grandkid and all was going well. At one point, the Big Boss Woman went out into the yard - eventually, they realised that she had been gone a long time...

She had tripped over the dog and 'made shite' of her right arm, in an effort to stop the fall. It was virtually wrapped round the back of her neck, broken below the shoulder and she was in so much pain that she couldn't even scream for help.

She was dragged off in a yellow van and plated up, but she's got a few weeks of difficulty to come yet.

"Amazingly my dozen eggs I'd just bought from M&S remained intact!" reminds me of nearly thirty years ago walking back from Sainsburys with two carrier bags, slipped on some ice and it was trying to save the two jars of pickled onions that made me fall awkwardly and break my right arm.
