Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I am now on 8 lovely, long and glorious days of annual leave!
Yes, it has only been 2 weeks since my last lot, but we have to get it when we can in the NHS.

I wonder what illness I shall come down with this time?
I liked that post because you're on 8 days off, not because you might get ill.

Got asked by a European Government to co-write an ad campaign. Or rather to tender for such

Can’t decide if I can lie well enough to collect the potential fee

Have no clue how they found me

Odd

Very

Probably need me to make up the numbers

To make up numbers

Should I be made up?

I have Mondays off for the next month, I handed in my notice and have a small amount of accrued leave to use. I start with a large pet goods supplier, yes that one, but at their head office, in February.
20% all orders using a code! And you get a discount card to use in the shops.
Good luck xxx

You're a braver man than me. That's not a commute I'd like to do every day...

I am ok with it in all honesty, aside from the past 3 years my commute has been to Birmingham Airport, West Brom, Leamington Spa, Chesterfield and Solihull. This new job is on a need to be in intermittently basis, and I am ok with that. Just be good to be working for a permanent company as opposed to consultancy. Also I spent a year working on the Horizon replacement and without question that completely drained me.

Oh someone approached me about a job in South Manchester last week, I wonder if it was the same place.

Is that something you should be doing in your condition!
I'd crossed them in advance for @Glam on friday morning , after the disaster in the shower .😂 resulting in to a visit to the fracture ward to have them uncrossed. I shall try hard to just try to imagine them crossed this week instead , wishing @Glam a lovely week off :D

Awwwwwww thank you! I'm just about go to my 2nd home (Sainsburys), can't find the shoes I would normally wear, so wearing some that hardly ever see light of day. I just hope the pavements/car park aren't slippy!

Watch how you go @Glam. I was walking along quite merrily wearing my trainers that I've walked miles in , and next thing was rolling around the pavement. (They still can't work out how I must have fell though ,as done both sides in as well as hands and wrists. I did this the StaffordJas bloody awkward way though!) Got a bit paranoid walking around to the hospital and to meet my mates for coffee etc now , gingerly taking tiny and slow fairy steps as scared of falling again. They are walking me back to my door each time as even they don't trust me to not have another argument with the pavement.

Then got over confident in the walk-in shower on friday , complete with plastic bag & elastic band over hand .... at least I didn't have to wait when I got to the hospital this time. I was whisked straight in to the lovely lads in the plaster room . Me thinks they are going to be seeing quite a bit of me these next 6-8 weeks 😂

You are a sodding jinx Mrs! Wandered over, as you do. I don't ever walk fast, that means exercising and it's been years since I was that daft.
Wandering round and I met @littleme passed pleasantries, as you do. I said my right ankle was hurting, as @littleme said, it could be because I've had walk to and from work for the last few weeks, Bob the car is poorly sick and I wanted wait till my week off to get the garage look at him.

Anyroads, walking back I had a lightbulb moment! It's your bloody fault for telling me be careful!
