Was feeling smart wearing my new jumper tonight. Hubbys first comment "That's a nice top one you" was spoilt by his next one "Is it a bed top?"

Got blown off the mountain bike on the Chase earlier. p jr. seemed to think it was highly amusing and even the canine ps seemed to be sniggering.
Saw a couple of motorcyclists doing a rather wobbly slow-down this afternoon whilst out on my walk , when some massive gusts struck.

Randomly chatted to some people yesterday who are where I'm also from, realised just how much I miss the accent, the peopme & the pmace, maybe a summer trip is in order this year..... :(

I managed to get out on my bike just before 10, but it was slow going as I turned back up from Lapley towards Church Eaton. We then walked to Wheaton Aston for dinner, I almost got blown into the canal on the way home...

Just back from holiday.
Landed at 6.30am at Heathrow, got home at 10.30 after picking up the dog and the cat.
Managed to get everything unpacked, done 3 lots of washing, dried loads of it and spent the afternoon ironing.

I’ve also made lunch and about to cook dinner.

Husband, who drove home is “exhausted”.

Waited for the plumber who was due at 10.30 yesterday, he texted at 12.30 to say he was running late (No s#!t Sherlock!) text again at 3.30 to say he wasn’t going to make it. Apparently he will call this morning to rearrange a time. Aha, we’ll see!

If he makes it tell him you are considering paying him this year...

Got approved for our second grant of fun last week. The small business grant is all done and dusted, now we're on the LCBEP scheme - there's a boatload of minisplit aircon... sorry "air source heat pumps" sitting in the office right now.

Exciting times. Might actually be able to use the unit again soon.

Today I learned from a no doubt over qualified consultant at Rowley Hall that my hip is degenerating and to do a replacement they need to remove my K nail which was inserted 36 years ago. No shit Sherlock this will be a complicated operation!!!

Good news is said consultant retires in 3 years but can patch me up with pain killers until then.

Why the feck do I bother paying for NI?

I also learned that Rowley Hall is a "cottage hospital in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere!!!"

I thought Rowley Hall was private?
