Enjoying a drop of red.
Despite only me, son and hubby having our new recently changed phone number, keep getting phones calls on the landline from various places asking for various different people. Googling the numbers calling me, one came up as a Stafford letting agent so I rang them to let them know they were dialling the wrong number . Still not convinced now that she believed this was actually MY number, MY house , and I'm nothing to do with the student tenant who has given this as their contact number. The last thing I was asked was "Well , do you know a Mr ****** ?"
Google your new number. See if it has history.

My parents moved many years ago and the 'new' number they got turned out to have been linked to a Freephone number that had been used by a Christmas Hamper company - the move occurred in early November - great fun ensued....

People innocently dialling the supposedly defunct Freephone number got put through them - at all hours of the day and night....

Just done that......Can't find anything . Keep getting the same stoke number ringing as me as well , even very late last night. But that is several different people speaking the other end. (Not ringing that back incase it's one of those telemarketers/foreign ones buying a local number ).

Looks like putting the phone on silent and leaving my mobile on overnight for if son needs to get me urgently.

White Hell! All schools closed tomorrow.

Anyway, as I was heading for my 1pm rendezvous at the Market Vaults today, my heart was gladdened to see that the kind lads that had altered the clock in October had left one face on BST, just for those of us that refuse to change.

Unfortunately, on my return, I discovered that it was just a fluke and that face still said it was two o'clock....

My mundane day yesterday....made my Christmas cake. A bit late but never mind.

Today. Went to Birmingham and met son for brunch. Love the new Grand Central.
Just now got back from the Community Centre and a very enjoyable 60's night.

It started snowing quite heavily in Acton Trussell and it was quite hard to see what was what driving home but it doesnt appear to be sticking here in Bednall.

Just soaking some dried fruit in brandy ready for making another Christmas cake tomorrow.

Sorted out B&Q who had calculated a completely inadequate number of boxes of tiles for our bathroom. Put on one tablet of metformin a day by the doctors, promptly had a hypo after the first one.

Its been snowing in Penkridge as well, had settled but now seems to be clearing.
