Today is the 34th anniversary of my dad leaving this mortal coil, and going somewhere else.
And today, as always my younger sister and myself will take a wreath and a bunch of flowers to put on his grave, say a few words to him, and have a wander round the village (Moddershall).
I've been off all week, and the weather has been gorgeous, now today, the day that we are going up the windiest churchyard in England, it has decided to rain. Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy.

Last night was girls theatre night out again.

This time eight of us had a meal at Robertos in Hanley followed by watching Sister Act at The Regent.

Good food, great company, fantastic show.

Lovely lovely lovely night out.

Note to self - do not log into Facebook when round at little sisters, without logging out after.
She's been posting stuff at my expense ever since. Nothing malicious, just jokey stuff.
Wondered what she meant when I got a txt asking what I'd forgotten.

Thought I'd try the ladies loo for change at Peter Gordano Services

A trap is a trap after all

I inadvertently did something similar at Uttoxeter races last year. It wasn't until I was sitting on the trap and heard the noise of high heels outside that I realised my mistake.

First thought was why are there ladies in the gents, second thought was why are there no urinals, third thought was I think I'm in the wrong loo. Anyway finished my business and proudly strolled out of the loos to some very surprised ladies:) :)

Husband came home today, he's been in Chicago since Monday.

Fizz opened, pizza in oven, salad made.

Dilemma sorted....we'll sky plus BGT and watch Eurovision live.

:)

Today, I happened to notice a sign for All Saints Primary School in Ranton.

It struck me as a bit of an odd name.

Surely it would have been more appropriate to have called it Black Sabbath Primary School?
