Once son's back from his holiday , other than me using Sooty to give him a lift if he's ever on a night out back home, I will be back on foot when hubby has our car for work..In the meantime, planning a big shopping trip in the morning while I've got a bigger boot to bung it all in.

Yes thanks, just bloody annoyed. Just surveyed the pics (took lots) and it's just the actual mirror bit by the look of it, there is damage to the colour coded plastic front but that looks like it was there before due to the type and direction of the damage.

I normally leave my bike in town if drinking, but I don't normally have most of a bottle of prosecco before I leave the office

People often mumble about "Chelsea tractors" - I went on a supermarket run this morning and this parked next to me.

Today, I fixed a pumped shower. Every few years, the pump shaft seal seizes strongly enough to stall the motor. It is designed by somebody who has never taken anything apart to fix it, and is a real struggle - only just doable. This is about the fourth time I've had to do it and I've modified it a little bit to make it easier next time.
