You have the opportunity to become an internet sensation...Had to get up earlier than normal to get the washing in and finished before having to be super quiet all morning . Hubbys having important worldwide conference meeting for most of morning . I've tried to creep round .... Just had some frantic hand signalling to stop boiling the kettle as it was too noisy (suddenly decided to sound like a plane taking off) , so took it upstairs to make my cuppa. Whilst creeping back down thought I'd bring lots of things downstairs all at once rather than several noisy trips up and down .....crash, bang, clatter as they all went bouncing down from top to bottom....Ooops ! . Just heard him say he's got another meeting with German bosses this afternoon . Gonna be a long day !
(Reminds me of the other week when one of the newsreaders , asking questions from home during the BBC Coronavirus daily updates program , had his wife or someone coming into the room in the background and brushing her hair etc )
We've only got sons bedroom spare, as we knocked the front two bedrooms into one. Wouldn't get all the works computer stuff into sons bedroom , it's cramped as it is with just his bed and furniture in. Struggling to find a space for the plants in there that have been evicted out of the dining room.(Plus we have neighbours noisy son , in most of the day, the other side of the thin wall. Now that could be rather embarrassing......).Is it possible that you could turn a spare bedroom into a temporary office?
Can't you find space for him to work in the garage? We've only got sons bedroom spare, as we knocked the front two bedrooms into one. Would have been ideal if we did have a spare room though. At the moment we have a cable running across the top of the lounge carpet to the 'office' in the dining room , as the computer and works phone isn't wifi and the modem socket is in the lounge.
Decided I might be quieter if I stop trying to be quiet.
How about a shed ?
I did suggest the shed as a joke when he first said he was working from home. Didn't go down too well ...Well ventilated, nice view of the ground, art deco roof. Can't see a downside here.
The wires wouldn't fit as far as there, as well as it being freezing cold and no windows . He needs the large dining table for all the files and paperwork as well as computer stuff, printer, paperwork and everything else that has made it back home. Even the table isn't big enough, the dining room chairs are doubling up as work tops as well.Computer is a big desk top one, along with 2 phones , printer and all the kit to get it all working together it takes up rather a lot of space. Complete with a massive big box as a filing cabinet (His boss set it up for us.......already daren't dust around all the wires incase I knock any out and we can't get it working again. Definitely wouldn't work again if we did try moving it. )Can't you find space for him to work in the garage?
Got me fancying one now...guess what I'm having for dinnerI could really murder a bacon and egg butty right now.........
