Think I've discovered the massive spindly spiders route in and out of the house from their 'home' in the electric box outside. Making my tea , one's just dropped down from the cupboard next to the cooker (where the electic box is positioned behind) , swaggered past the hot toaster and more or less over my hand on the side and proceeded to absail down the gap at the side of the cooker. Looked like a well practised route.
Disappeared by the time I'd got a glass and coaster to capture the little devil. On closer inspection , for the first time in 30+ years, noticed the slight gap between the cupboard and wall tiles
Tip..?Wow, It's better than Franceso's have ever done it"

Is Formby the beach that we saw lots of statues going in to the sea from the train windows en-route from Southport to Liverpool? We decided to go to Formby for a while yesterday. Today has been spent cleaning the house as the amount of dust that has accumulated since the beginning of March is not insignificant, though not as bad as the amount of sand that is coating the rear windows and frames. Got a window cleaner booked in for tomorrow for that.
Very pleasant walk through the dunes to the beach this afternoon. About the usual number of folks for this time of year and nobody doing anything stupid.
It's so nice just to be somewhere different, though the daily commute to Shrewsbury is going to be a bit of a pig if I decide to do it daily.
That might be Crosby beach, but I've not been to either, so I'm not sure...Is Formby the beach that we saw lots of statues going in to the sea from the train windows en-route from Southport to Liverpool?
Or in a bean tin.
Or wrapped in foil.....

Shame! Shame! Shame! My son was filmed by a TV channel, talking about his situation in Leicester during the extended lockdown, his pub specifically but also the effect on other businesses in Leicester.
This particular TV channel regularly has viewers of over 100 million.
I’d post the link but it’s all in Russian.
How bizarre, that a Russian TV channel managed to find my son to interview, and that the Leicester lockdown is of interest in Russia.
Another reason that I’m not posting the link is that he hadn’t combed his hair.
