I have officially had an offer accepted on a house in Scotland!
Hurrah!
Lovely news!
What’s happening with your teaching job though?
Have you given notice and have you and your husband found a new job in Scotland?
Restrictions don't make it safe to get out and about unfortunately. How quiet is town now? even with restrictions being lifted, can see a lot of places shutting
Final nail in the coffin for any independant stores?

I fully see your point and the Mrs is in retail and you are spot on.There's been about 2 positive cases all week confirmed.....
570 out of nearly 68,500 population in total (that's from 2011 so i guess 75k now?)
Imagine if it was something actually very deadly, we'd be housebound for years.
I'm not worried anymore, what's the point in living with fear? especially with the stats currently, live your life...
At this rate there will be nothing to go back to, nowhere to go to enjoy yourself, nowhere to shop etc etc
Coronavirus won't go away anytime soon considering how bad other places have it in the world, and can come here.. only takes 1 person to start it all again, so what's the point even if we wiped it out mostly here? not meant to live for years?
How many people have had a test though? And if my dad got it it would kill him, so I'll be careful for now thanks.

... This...
"Public Health England estimates that on average 17,000 people have died from the flu in England annually between 2014/15 and 2018/19. However, the yearly deaths vary widely from a high of 28,330 in 2014/15 to a low of 1,692 in 2018/19. Public Health England does not publish a mortality rate for the flu."Pretty sure flu kills more people also, better not leave the house at all in the winter.
Might not sound like I care but obviously I do care about it, i'm still only going pubs in the day if I get chance as it's quiet and not many people at all (if it's not the weekend) and a few i've been to are very health and safety first, which is brilliant to see.
Yes that's it, only quote part of the post to make you look like a smart cookie, bit out of context
