I went to the loo this morning and this was where Bee was when I came out
Our Piskie dog used to know the signs and made sure we didn't go anywhere near the front door without her when the cases appeared. She had the comfiest journey of us all , sprawled out in her basket taking up most of the back seat, with us squashed in with stuff piled on top of us. We call the M5 bridge over the Bristol Channel 'Piskies Bridge' as she always woke up excited sniffing the sea air as we went over it. She loved her holidays
Enjoy your hols
@Thehooperman and Bee
and
@Lucy
Been getting ready for our hols as well , with the house getting a good spring clean to come back to and replacing most of the summer stuff in the car with coats and brollies after seeing floods down in Dorset
Spent yesterday and today ringing around various pubs and restaurants booking tables for meals and drinks for the whole week. Was expecting to have to book tables for meals, but not just nipping in for a drink in places later. Prefer to walk around , see somewhere we fancy and call in . But advised by each establishment that tables are scarce and advisable to pre-book or good chance wont get in (especially being bank holiday) Some are even closing at 8pm in the week
so military planning to make sure we can enjoy full evenings out. Not our usual holiday, but really looking forwards to it whaver the weather.....
Plans to stop off at Longleat Safari park on the way back scuppered though....no slots left on the day !
