No, Walsall.Sounds familiar. Your office isnt in Solihull is it?
No, Walsall.
They're the enemy! (If you mean the company who provide Homecare policies)
There's quite a few of us dotted round Stafford.Ha! I do half know someone who works there
I've just been given an appointment to attend the office to pick up my new laptop. It's not for a few weeks, but when I do go it'll be 217 days since I was last there.
I managed 6 months and 3 days.
You beat me 197 days. I can’t see me going in this year.
And you are all valued.
We know, thank you.And you are all valued.
Thank you xxAnd you are all valued.
It's strange at home. I didn't stop working.
I've been at home but working full time. It dragged to begin with but once I got into a rhythm it flew by.
I can't say I've hated this year either, it's brought some normality and stability into our home life, not rushing here there and everywhere.
I did not today.I don't know how you all manage to stay so polite given the rudeness of customers.
And that it's your fault that there's nothing on the shelves.
So, lots of you furloughed people are all alone, it must be very strange and sad. I had never seen it like that, we are here though if you need us! .... Its good to have other peoples views. Everyone's experience is so different. This for me too. Feel lucky to be allowed to wfh and stay safe once I got used to the isolation. I work in a place where no one even says good morning so it was tough to start with but I'm used to it now. I am somewhat worried how I will be once the dark nights and cold weather set in and I hear from no one for days and visiting friends is a risk
People like that need to be put down.I did not today.
Today I was the door police. An elderly customer had a mask in their hand, but made no move to put it on. I asked them to put it on, and received a 'I'll do it on the store'. Again I asked them to step aside (to let other customers in) and put the mask on. They did.
They got as far as the foyer, took the mask off, blew their nose on a tissue, and dropped the used tissue into a clean basket.....
I wasn't letting this go, so I stopped them again, informed them that they had 'dropped' their tissue, held the basket up so that they could retrieve it, & informed them where the nearest bin was.
'Not my tissue' is what they said, 'yes it's is, I saw you blow your nose and drop it', 'no I didnt', 'yes you did'.. .. 'well I don't need it now' was the answer I got as they walked off.
I can't repeat the (muffled by a mask) words that I might have uttered, but guess who picked up the soaking snot ridden tissue and put it in the bin, as I wasn't going to leave it for someone else.
I just don't understand people's utter contempt for other people. F*****g d***y f***s
But, it's not that easy.People like that need to be put down.
