More recently than that a licensee in South Wales was threatened with prosecution for selling watered down keg lager. It transpird that his kegs had been stored outside in very cold weather and a lot of the water had frozen but not the alcohol. When he brought them in and connected them her was serving Fosters or whatever it was at about 145 alcohol, then as the ice melted the remaining beer was diluted down to about 1% - which is when trading standards turned up.Did your beer freeze over during that winter

I wasn't earning that when I married my wife, which would mean I'd have had to move abroad ironically leaving open a job that they can't recruit from abroad to fill. I get the idea is to hire internally but who is training these people?The unintended, or perhaps, intended, consequences.
Oh, and don't you dare marry someone who isn't a British citizen unless you earn £40k...
