Does anyone know of anywhere in Stafford that has a new years eve disco/party that lets kids (13) in? Im fed up of staying in every year! and i dont want to just "sit" in a pub.

Ive looked at stafford rangers as they have social club, but it doenst say anything about new year, kids or joining!

I wonder what the good people of Frankfurt do for a christmas market as theirs is always in Birmingham...?

Guess thats a no then - nothing in stafford at new year thats family friendly, thats a shame other areas seem to cope quite well, providing somewhere to go.

I have been working in Frankfurt a couple of times around Christmas and one entire square and a number of streets become the Christmas Market - there are so many stalls that I think that they only come to Birmingham as there is no room left in Frankfurt.

I love German Xmas markets, but there are only ever about half a dozen types of stalls that are repeated every few yards - I dont get it, but it seem to be German "ordnung" ie the way it should be.

And to be honest as long as they have Weisbeir and Wursts with a little Gluewien chaser I am happy!!!!

When I was a DJ / KJ, I used to hire out rooms and do private new years parties for this very reason. Families were welcome and I used to spread the word between family and friends, then friends could invite friends etc. I never knew 70% of the people who came but it was always a cracking friendly night without any trouble.
If only I still had my gear, we could have organised the "Stafford Forum New Year Bash"

Hmmmmm - I'm not on facebook so can't look at the link, but looks VERY interesting for us to go with our 15 yr old.

Went there not long ago for a mates Birthday Party and was very impressed with the place!

tickets available for Stafford CC do, should be a goodun. Come down to club and buy your tickets, pm me or I can give you numbers for the couple that are organising it, the food will be decent hot food by the way.

Mentioned it to hubby and he was umming & aahing & finding excuses not to go. Realise why now - looking at the match fixtures , they have been changed & he's got a bloody football match the next day and will be catching an early coach :grr:

Still going to be working on him though as it sounds like it will be a good night!

Hi All

My friend and I have decided that we want to go out New Year's Eve in Stafford somewhere, but want to avoid the likes of Casa et al,

anyone any suggestions of whats going on that will be fairly decent and cost effective

I would go down the local, but unfortunately my friend doesn't like local pubs

thanks

The club has always been family friendly. THeres now a new club manager so would hope he has things like new year promotion in hand. Give him a call this evening and he'll hopefully give you a thumbs up! Tony 602432

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Just wondered what people are doing for New Years Eve this year? Myself and the other half wondered if anything was happening around Stafford? We are limited to travelling due to his work :(

Luckily this year I'm at a party but usually have the same quandry as you. I've just picked the best local in the past and then end up paying an admission price to get in! Damn cheek when they start charging to go into a pub. :(

Sod that! You should never pay to get into a pub or club, for the priviledge of giving them business.
I will be at a party too - no admission fees, no queuing to get a drink and a damned site cheaper! Will also be a lot more fun.

I'll be at home as usual due to finances, which if they don't pick up will be a very sober New years Eve.

I'm off New Years Eve,cos it's my birthday, most likely spending the evening alone, cos my 3 will be going out somewhere. Got work the next day so can't do much solitary drinking either.
