No more Santa Dash?

I'm sure there was a story recently about rehabilitation into the community also being done in Stafford (though I doubt that'll be the case with Rolf Harris).It's that which really scares me. Just another expression of how those in positions of power have scant regard for our Kids safety*.

What an unbelievably short-sighted approach. Do those running the town have no idea of the benefits of organising an event that will bring in people to the town at a crucial time if year for businesses there?

I can believe it - anyway, don't worry, it's going to be "refreshed and imporved", apparently...

If you look on the Santa Dash Website there is no mention of the Stafford event this year

I just hope that The Santa Dash does go ahead this year, however should that be the case, what's required is for the community of Stafford to get behind it and make it the biggest and best ever!

Now people say that The Forum is doom and gloom but couldn't we take it on as our Stafford Challenge for Christmas?

Once we'd found somewhere to park, got through the traffic etc etc

Ours was on here as 'Unconfirmed' seems they have now taken all unconfirmed events off the list.

Took part last year, Santa suites were handed out on the day with race numbers. Presumable these were covered by the entrance fee.
