Why go with the N95 when you could go with the super hyped iPhone, I recieved my iPhone 5 days ago and it is excellent it does............. and then it broke. Maybe I should have gone Nokia!

(While the above it not a happy post, I put it here as it will probably make the N95 owners happy!)

because if i'm going to get a top of the range phone, i want to, you know, do basic stuff like send MMS messages, assign mp3 to message/ringtones, allow me to copy & paste, change the battery, etc. :teef:

i will admit, the 3G iphone is a significant improvement on the awful original, but it's still not up to scratch imo.. plus i've managed to avoid installing itunes on my PC thus far, so i'd rather not have to do it just to use a phone!

have you actually looked into the features (or lack thereof) of the iphone? seriously, once you get over the "ooh, a touchscreen" honeymoon period you will find moving from something as feature-packed as the N95 to the iphone very frustrating!

Seriously though.... hopefully the N96 will be released when my contract is out... or maybe even the new Samsung i8510 INNOV8
i'd go for the latter.. the N96 looks purdy 'n' all, but really, who needs DVB-T on a phone?? that's basically all it's got over the N95 8GB, from what i can see..

the samsung innov8, despite the dodgy name, looks like a serious bit of kit.. and prior to the N95, i've had a lot of samsungs (v200, e700, d500, d600, d900) and always found them to be great little phones.. in fact, i'm finding it hard to adjust to the subtle differences of this new nokia!

I've had the d500, 600 and 900's too - as you say they were all pretty good.

Had an Orange SPV C550 after that and loved it!

I massively recommend the Nokia Lifeblog pc software. It manages copying your texts, photos and videos from your handset onto your pc, and then displays them in a horizontal timeline. Do try it, and if you don't like it I'll be very surprised!
