Picked up a Philips Hue Kit as they was on offer at Currys

I use Alexa for most of my voice controlled automation so the Google home is going to be someones Xmas pressie
Although its more expensive to purchase the different bulbs etc , ive just realised how much more they can actually do.
I'll mainly be using the Hue to display ambient lighting in sync with my tv when watching movies , music concerts etc.
( although ive also had to purchase a couple of these for the full effect )

My remaining Hive controlled lighting will carry on being used with my sensors for turning the lights on and off for my stairs and bedrooms. (handy when you are carrying wifeys tea tray to her room and you cant access the switches as your hands are full lol )
damn , this habit can get very expensive
