I am looking for a pianist to play at my wedding on Thursday 5th April 2012 (day before Good Friday). Its at Swinfen Hall, Lichfield and would be from approx. 1 pm - 4 pm. If this is something you could do, or you know of someone that could please PM me with cost etc.

Thanks

You've left it a bit late as it's a busy week-end, drawn blanks so far though i've got a few more to ask next week........

I've dealt with swinfen hall myself when I was running the dove business, and they do have their own wedding service directory, so like Theorum says I'd check with them if they have details for one.

I play piano myself, but it's been so long now I can't play a song without dropping a note somewhere! (also I can't read music and only play "by ear" and my choice of songs wouldn't really be appt.) ;)

You mean you play like Les Dawson?

if you ever have any query relating to music or musicians i usually find the best bet is to ask eric in guitar and son (just down from the nelson) as he seems to know everyone in the town who has even a slightest hint of an interest in music

Hello there,

I happen to be available on your day so if interested after checking out profile [www.starnow.co.uk/degliss] then contact 07840 947876 / theukpianoman@gmail.com. I would propose an all-in fee of only £250, and you are welcome to suggest the repertoire you would like to hear ..favourite songs etc, interpreted on the piano.

I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best,

Pianoman Chris

How do I edit this?
If you're keen to book Pianoman Chris I don't wish to deny any musician work, but there's a local player named Steve Tams who I've done some work with and been very impressed at. He's classically trained but regularly does the Sunday night jams at the Grapes so is obviously at home with a pop repertoire. I haven't got a number for him handy, if you were interested PM me and I can track him down.
