Stafford bred poet Laureate comes to Stone for a public performance on Sunday, September 19th - Carol Ann Duffy

6.30pm - Carol Ann Duffy & John Sampson perform for adults and students.
Carol Ann Duffy was born in Glasgow, but moved to Stafford when she was six years old.
Carol was educated in Stafford as Saint Austin's RC Primary School, St. Joseph's Convent School and Stafford Girls' High School. She comes to Stone to deliver two sessions of poetry readings.
She became Poet Laureate in 2009.
