Not sure you are reading between the lines and the owner having gone out of business was some months back as was the change of ownership at the Post House was even before that, this has led to an oversight on their part with not changing the license and the named holder. Hence why thye have had to re-apply to planning which ends on the 11th November.
Plus the new owner is right, what a previous owner going bankrupt has to do with it I am not sure. But it is the son and daughters who now operate it as far as I know.
The police has issue with not supporting a temp license for the charity event this weekend, although the writing of the piece is making it confusing. But all this has been covered already on this forum and press 2 weeks ago, just the express and star are catching up
The underage drinking part is something a number of venues have been caught out doing in Stafford and Stone including: The Swan Hotel on the high street. All have put measures in place to prevent this from happening again, IF you believe the reports.
