Personally I have no problem with vehicles using the roads as long as they are legally entitled to.
The problem is, the effing county council not fixing and maintaining them.

The problem is, the effing county council not fixing and maintaining them.
There is that. The "sandpaper" approach of sealing the roads only does so much, it stops water getting into the cracks and freezing. Often they form due to the ground under the tarmac developing a fault, sometimes a sinkhole.
