QOTW - hate foods

Theres always loads of food love on this forum, we're always informing each other what we're stuffing down our necks whilst at work, but what food do you hate the most? And why? Do brussel sprouts make you :barf:? Can't stand the pea?

For me, its beetroot, having been force fed it when at small school. Long ago before school dinners were canteen style, our school didnt let you have a choice in what you got on your compartmentalised dinner tray, and beetroot was standard, there, malignantly staining your chips purple.

I have had a hatred/gag reflex every time i think of its evillness.

And yours?

As I think I mentioned on another thread, I hate mushrooms. Texture of slime, taste of mud. Digusting inventions.

You've just sworn!

Mushrooms are a must when preparing a full english. In fact I get very upset if they aren't on my plate.

However, I appear to be one out of a dozen or so mates who like them. :/

Strawberry flavoured foods

I love fresh strawberries but flavoured yoghurt etc, is a vom-a-thon
Banana flavoured foods, though bananas on there own are fine. Hate custard, trifle, blamange, lamb, lemon curd sandwiches . . .

Who the feck thought it'd be a good idea to put lemon curd on a slice of bread? I'd love to know. He/she needs a bloody good clip round the ear. Sick bastards.

Well Aunty Barbara for one, nearly thirty tears later and I've still not forgiven her for force-feeding me that crap.

I don't eat anything that had or has a face! haven't for 25+ years, but I am sure I would like the taste of some face food if I tried it, I won't be though!

I do know that I hate the smell of any seafood since giving it, (and all other things with faces), up for entirely student related, pretentious reasons. I used to love to eat all sorts of fishy delights, Oooer! But the mere smell now turns me guts! Weird one that!

PS pleeease no cunning linguist type humour!
