Queens Retail Park!

NOTE TO SELF:

Never drive to Queens Retail Park on a Saturday!!!

The place is a logistical nightmare.... You can kiss the best part of an hour away just driving onto and then straight back out the bloody place. I've spent less time in a queue at Alton Towers (Well that's a lie, because that is the worst place on the planet to get out of.... But it felt like it)

If there was ever anywhere that needed an alternative access route, this is it!!

Rant over..... Thanks for listening!!

Agree with you! One thing you missed is the negotiating the 6" potholes on the way out is quite an adventure too!!!!!

I made the mistake of calling by Pets at Home just before 4:00 today, didn't fair too badly escaping the place - the trick is to plot your route out the car park so that you have the least number of "give ways"...

That's exactly what I was doing too..... Must have just missed you. I was there just after 4pm!!

Oh and I certainly know what Moby Dick means by the pot-holes too, but then there are soooo many surfaces in Stafford that require urgent attention!!

Driving round Stafford is luxury compared to Stoke!!! Went through Meir and Weston Coyney earlier, it is impossible to avoid the potholes, though I see resurfacing starts on Monday.

Gotta say best way to get around in Stafford is by motorbike . You lot have probably seen me on my big purple beast zipping through the traffic at rush hour pissing everyone else off. Im just gonna say takes me 5 mins to get from littleworth to the center of town no matter the time of day i do feel sorry for all you car drivers and your long ass drives back from work.

Queens is a bit of a disaster on a saturday. I made a mental note to NEVER go on a saturday a while ago but in a rush last Sat I "popped" to Pets at home forgetting about this until it was too late. It was busy but not tooo bad for once. It has taken me 45 minutes to get out of that car park on a Saturday once before though. no joke. They have quite royally boxed themselves in though with all the developments... dont know how you could get another access road coming out.
