Hello lovely people!
I FINALLY have internet after a 3 week wait! YAY!
(I will be spamming the forum later - don't worry!)
I checked my email to find I had a message from the letting agency of my previous property!
Basically I was with Sky - a 12 month contract - I rang and cancelled in good due time however technically the phone line will be in our name until the end of the contract - 27th October.
The new tenant had tried to get Sky and been told that the line is active in my name - and she cant use it.
I went on Sky Online Chat and I swear they're all on drugs - ( they were really weird and kept asking me about my day - fricking get on with it!) so weren't much help.
But I'm worried that the new tenant can just plug a phone in and start calling premium rate sex lines and it will all be charged to me?
Can they do this? They can't use the internet or TV as I have the boxes.
But I do feel bad for them as I appreciate how dire life is without the internet....
Any ideas?
