Most enjoyable evening, still suffering today, to all the performers and firestarters.

Great to meet loads of other forumites, would love a copy of group photo.

Thanks to BBC for the cider, and socks. Think I showed my dart playing skills to Doc though might have a re-match with you and Cookie_monster another time.

But what were we doing in BBC's bathroom with our shades, and did we swap any other garments?

Well helloooooooooo forumites.

You've got Tiscali to thank for me not posting for 2 whole months. I'm sneaking a quick look for the first time in me new job. I've got about 5 minutes before I get lynched for not updating our website quick enough.

While doing my forumly duty in helping to put up that tarp over the beer garden I got something in my eye, which really annoyed me until I drank so much that I didn't notice any more. Problem was that there was really something quite wrong with my eye, as evidenced by the fact that when I awoke at half 8 on Sunday morning I could hardly open it and it was running with gunk. Big up to me dad for getting out of bed to take me to A & E. Still hurts like a bustard, mind.

I can't open any of the photos at work. Can somebody post one, or the best few, on here, rather than linking to it. It would cheer my eye right up.

urm......i have no idea.

in fact, i had absolutely no recollection of the dart playing until reading this post at work...much to the hilarity of my colleagues.

thank you everybody for all the hard work put in, the turning up when the weather was quite frankly rubbish and putting up with me in what must have been an incredibly drunken state by the end of the night.

i have a most almightly bruise on my shin from falling of the stool in the railway, holes in my shoes from walking home after bar code and miraculously i woke up next to a half empty can of cider on sunday lunchtime with a vague recollection of setting the burglar alarm of at my folks at some godforsaken hour.

all in all, a successful trip home! :)

Looks like I have done. Having my first lunch break for about 2 weeks, so spending it on 'ere, wondering what my ratio of forumites met on Saturday to forumites remembered the next time I meet them will be.

Seriously though, it was wicked to meet so many people, but I hope nobody's offended if I can't remember them next time. If I blank anyone, it's because I can't remember them - not because I'm being rude. If you see me in the town/pub/river/bin just come and say hello.

I'm itching to see the photos, but I've tried again at work and they still won't show, and my internet's still not sorted at home. How frustrating.
