Roving Gangs of Rickerscote

Has anyone witnessed the alleged gangs of youngsters that are roving the Peach Avenue/Exeter Street area at night jumping out in front of cars and throwing rocks at them? I've been told about this twice this week by people from another taxi company, but we haven't had any problems.

My sister has just had a group of around 16-20 hooded lads block the road across both lanes trying to stop her.
They have smashed her car with something really hard as she's had to floor it through them. Another taxi man has had his back window put through with an iron bar by the same lads in the same area. BE VERY CAREFUL.
They nearly managed to stop her and I dread to think what could have happened if they did.
Please share this information to anyone you know that may be driving in the area."

Fair point about the truthfulness of it, but if it did turn out to be true then I for one will not be in the least bit surprised.

Well....Surely if its on Facebook it must be true?

Alternatively it is well to remember that useful acronym GIGO, loosely translated as shite in, shite out.

In the course of working on a night when the town is full of arseholes, I had to speak to two occifers last night. Neither of them knew anything about it.

Drove along Rickerscrote Road/Silkmore Lane this morning, heading towards Queens Retail Park. The drive was painfully slow due to about 8 scrotes on mountain bikes riding across the carriageway, occasionally weaving into the path of oncoming cars and doing everything they could to prevent anyone overtaking them.

I have no idea whether this was a one off group of scrotes on their way to somewhere via Rickerscrote Rd etc or the mythical Gang Of, but just saying like...*

Rickerscote is relatively tame compared to a lot of places... I'm not entirely convinced about gangs of 20 stopping traffic.

I always see gangs of youngsters in my area (Moss Pit) But they never give me any grief...

How are they to know what's inside a vehicle? From what I read there's some truth but some of the people on that thread weren't too bright! Ya get me, Blud?
