To paraphrase Tommy Doherty on 'Today' this morning - "I think the FA were probably a bit worried about what else is going to come out about Harry.."I think it's a strange appointment considering pretty much everyone in the country & the England squad wanted Redknapp.
I think the press wanted Redknapp and they gave the impression that everyone wanted Redknapp, whereas the football forum I frequent seem fairly happy with Hodgson and certainly prefer him to 'arry. Looking at their management credentials, Hodgson wins it hands down.I think it's a strange appointment considering pretty much everyone in the country & the England squad wanted Redknapp. Woy's done well with West Brom, so let's see.
With the benefit of hindsight, a lot of the people I've spoken to also agree with the decision.
