anyone know why my stupid stupid i hate it galaxy y samsung phone keeps going on hold the minute i answer a call

yes i know but he doesn't seem to have the problem i want to switch the feature off but don't know how to - i've tried going through the setttings and there is nothing

Is it a touchscreen phone? Is the bit that switches off the touchscreen when you put it to your ear working properly?

A friend of mine had an iPhone which got put on mute when he raised it to his ear. Turned out the touchscreen switch off was malfunctioning and his ear was hitting the mute button. He had his iPhone replaced under warranty.

Just wondered if anything like this was happening.

my stupid stupid fone that kept on putting poeple on hold the minute i foned them, then foned someone else at the same time then asking me to swap callers was actually not working right - carfone wharehousetold me today they are giving me a new one. Phew thank goodness for that i though i was stupid with new technology
