Shredded Paper?

Goldilox

How do I edit this?
If you have a compost heap it's useful to add your shredded paper to that as it helps balance the mix to give you usable compost at the end of the process.

We donate all our office shredding to Amerton farm's wildlife rescue place. They like paper but not card as apparently it's not soft enough for the animals. They've never been bothered about ink poisoning but to be fair I'd never thought about it either. I'll point it out to them the next time we do a drop off.

from ASDA...

My dad has one of them can crushers, saves so much room. He takes all the cans to the tip. Just got £8 for the most recent lot (about 3 black bags!)

We don't have a blue caddy in our bin, we just chuck everything in...

I think hamsters don't fare well with newspaper ink iirc.
