Yeah that's a strong possibility! Fortunately German was the subject i was best at in school. All bases covered.jimstafford said:I fear some questions may be in German but it's got to be worth a look.
I didn't get to see any of the questions in the end anyway. 21/30 ain't bad!Andreas Rex also wrote said:If i didn't have such a god-awful memory i really would win this. Curses
One of the questions that we all got wrong was 'What is the name of the person who currently holds the 'best-seller' spot in both the fiction and non-fiction charts?' (..i think that's what it was..) Now i'd been in the queue at Sainsbury's a bit earlier, and whilst waiting i cast a cursory glance at the books behind me. I noticed that there were 2 books by the same fella, and that he had a Scandinavian name, but being shortsighted and forgetful i had no chance. I offered the fact that he was from Scandinavia, or at least had a name that was, but the ruthless Sofa denied me any pointage! It was Hal Iggulden by the way.BBC said:Can you remember any of the questions Andreas? If so test us out!
I think one of the books was co-written with Conn Iggulden, either that or the other way round.jimbob23 said:Isn't his name Conn Iggulden? Or am I thinking of somebody else?
i cannot believe i was absent from a pub quiz with such a geeky question!!Andreas Rex said:Another of the questions was 'What does HTTP stand for?'.
