Some tits are trying to break into my house.

I don't fancy the chances of your ornaments if pusscat decides to jump!
Charlie jumped up there the other day, that's why there a bit out of order.... It's the only windowsill we can put things on as it's the only one the cats never jump onto!

We've bought him/her some mealworms which I'll putbin theb window sill tomorrow, and a perspex bird feeder to attach to the window that will come on Wednesday, hopefully ... Bless.. he has a friend that sits nearby & watches.. which is good as I usually see a little flock of about 6 of them... Bonus is while watching the tits I saw a tiny wren...

Apparently the carer says it wasn't a wren.. it was light brown and smaller than the blue tit, but had 2 pink stripes down either side of it's chest... Pale pink

That's more of a Robin thing, but even they aren't hugely keen, I find.

Are they dried? If so, try soaking them.
The rain made them wet & then a horrific flock of starlings attacked them.

Blue tit is carrying on with his day to day activitys & doesn't care for mealworms or starlings.

I usually put a mix of mealworms, nuts & suet in my feeders and it all seems to disappear at about the same rate.
The squirrels eat most of my bird food. Costing me a fortune but got to give the birds a chance of getting some by putting loads out.

Did have some Tesco stinky cheese that smelt rather strong well before the date on the packet . Put it in a feeder cage thing for a day to see if anything fancied it... even the squirrels decided it was best avoided !
