Stafford local legends - You had some characters!

Many of my recent sitings of Julian & Jesus have been in Doxey. They walk a long way through it, towards Aston. And then they disappear. Miracles to perform and shopping to put away.

I am not surprised Julian likes a chat because Jesus never speaks. He is an ethereal presence, a considerable distance away. Also, presumably, his job is to spread The Word.

Paul Brandrick is still a character, unbelievable belly on him now as well, looks like he will explode! assume he is retired, wonder where he gets money from to eat loads, always by burger man in market square, he was in shop today for 2 hours reading out loud from this book!

I'll give you a clue, he wears one of these. The large or small one? - You decide.

As a local football fan - easy choice. Keith Mottershead, played hundreds of games for Stafford Rangers and has now put so much time in with Stafford Town that they renamed their main stand after him. Down to earth, pleasant and honest as the day is long.

Councillor Ian Parry.

Seriously.

Approach him and explain he has been nominated as The Man Who Turned The Lights Out.

He could be pictured in front of the Shire Hall. You could suggest that the council might like to use the image on their Christmas cards next year.

Really impressed with the number of nominations received so far :)

Be great if you could make them via the website so I can make sure I've got the same details for all of them.

Thanks
Daniel

They were in the Market today and we had a little chat. I even got an "Hello" from Joseph, as I now know the brother to be called. Julian was his eternal pleasant self.

Perhaps we should have a Julian-Watch Thread?
