Stafford or Shrewsbury?

I was born in Stafford and spent my early years in Stafford before moving away aged 8. I later returned to Stafford in my mid 30s.

I have lived in numerous places in the intervening years including Shrewsbury for about 4 or 5 years.

I love Shrewsbury it's a lovely place to live with a fantastic choice of restaurants, pubs and things to do. It's also easily accessible to Wales.

Shrewsbury is a much prettier place to live than Stafford and has more to offer. However, I'm a Stafford lad and Stafford will always be home for me. So, I would choose Stafford.

I used to commute from Shrewsbury and Stafford by car to Birmingham. Both equally awful journeys.

It seems to have been changed to Stafford v Shrewsbury, which was, presumably, the original intention.
