Popped into Geek Retreat today for lunch, was thoroughly impressed tbh. Your first instinct would be that it's gonna be pretty rough-and-ready food but nope, good food all round. Probably going to visit more often.

Didn't get that "yeah we totally know geekery, greetings fellow kids!" vibes you'd anticipate a chain filling that niche would have either - it's pretty clear the owners are passionate about the place, as are the staff.

My heart is however going about 500mph after that Biscoff Milkshake though

Yes we take our girl there on a Saturday morning for the Pokémon club...I only wish they had a decent extractor unity in the kitchen was it can get a bit smelly if they've cooked a bit....

What was there before Peacocks? It was another clothes shop but I can't remember the name.
