Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
There is already a newly opened tanning shop in the old furniture exchange, mill street.

Has David Dickinson moved to the area ?
No just loads of people keen to set up a business, with no original ideas and almost certainly no idea whether they will be successful or not.

But there are plenty of other shops the same around so it must be ok, mustn't it?

According to the Pandora staff the shop next door is going to be a Tanning/Vape shop.
There's nothing quite like a tanning shop to get your body 'beach ready':

The old Stafford Newsletter office opposite the old post house is now the Riverside Contemporary Art Gallery... Now has this not gone full circle or is it different people than the original ? The new one doesn't have a café though which is a shame.

Exactly the same people who were next door up until 18 months ago

I don't think its been reported, but one of the Trolley bays at Asda has been removed to make way for a Timpson shoe repair shop (possibly dry cleaning as well).

In that case, they should have returned with the café. More chance of getting passing trade with a café, especially in the summer, than some bespoke art place.

A lot more waste though - and a lot more competition. I assume any sales of the art does pretty well assuming overheads aren't massive. I've never seen anyone actually buy anything from them, or their like, but I guess they must.

At least they saved money on getting new signage printed up.

I see they've removed the postage stamp machines from the walls of Chetwynd House

Sheridan must be turning in his grave

Whatever next

Surely it'd have a cost to remove them, if they weren't doing any harm, they may as well have been left tbh.
